Sur Sangam Music Academy

Our academy is situated in Gama-1, Greater Noida, at S-25. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood for the most part, which makes it a good spot for a music school. We started Sur Sangam because we noticed there weren't many places nearby for kids to just go and play. It’s not a high-tech studio or anything. We have some decent instruments and enough chairs for everyone. Sometimes the sessions run a bit late and we have to remind the students to keep it down so the neighbors don't complain. We don't have a lot of staff, usually just a couple of us handling everything from the teaching to the cleaning. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We’ve had a few broken windows and some out-of-tune pianos over the years, but we fix them as we go. It feels very local here. We know most of the parents by name. We aren't trying to produce world-famous stars, just hoping to give people a chance to enjoy music. The walk to S-25 is easy enough from the main part of Gama-1. We keep our fees reasonable because we know how things are. It’s just a plain, honest music school where we do our best with what we have. No big promises, just daily practice and a lot of patience from everyone involved.
