Saj Music Academy

Saj Music Academy sits right on the Indirapuram Main Road. It’s usually pretty easy to find us because you can often hear someone practicing a guitar or a keyboard from the street. We started this place because we wanted a spot where kids and adults could just come and learn an instrument without it being too stressful. The rooms aren't huge, but they have enough space for a teacher and a student to sit down and go over some notes. We have different people coming in throughout the day. Some are little kids who can barely hold a violin, and others are older people who always wanted to learn piano but never had the time until now. It gets quite noisy in the afternoons when all the classes are going at once. You might hear a drum set in one room and someone singing in the next. It’s a bit of a mix, but it works. We don't have a big corporate structure here. It’s mostly just us teachers showing up and helping people figure out how to play their favorite songs. The Main Road location is handy for parents dropping off their children after school. We’ve seen a lot of students start with no idea how to read music and leave being able to play a whole piece. That’s the best part of being here. We just like music and want to share that with the neighborhood.
