Sonakshi Beauty Saloon

I've been working at Shop 18-19 for years now. It's right on the Main Road in Surya Nagar, and most people around here know us because we're so close to Agarwal Sweets Point. Sometimes the smell of fresh samosas comes right inside the shop while I'm working. It's a small salon, nothing like those big fancy ones in the malls. We have two chairs and the curtains are a bit faded from the sun hitting them every afternoon. We do haircuts and threading and whatever else the local ladies need. On Sundays, it gets very busy and people have to wait on those plastic chairs we put outside. We don't have a fancy coffee machine or anything, but I can always get you a glass of water. The big mirror has a small crack in the bottom corner, but you can still see yourself just fine. We use normal scissors and combs that we've had for a while. It feels like a small family here because I like talking to the aunties about their kids and what they're cooking for dinner. Ghaziabad is a very crowded and noisy place, but inside our shop, it stays okay. We keep the ceiling fan on high all day. The floor gets messy with hair pretty fast, but we sweep it up when we can. We don't have a website or anything. If you are near B-10, we are just a short walk away. It's just a neighborhood beauty shop.
