We are located over at G-32 in Govindpuram. It’s a decent area, mostly quiet compared to the main city markets. We started Sky Communication because there was a need for a place nearby where people could get their mobile things sorted without traveling too far. The shop isn't fancy. We have a glass counter and some stools. Most days, it's just one or two of us here. We handle a lot of recharges and data plans for the students and families nearby. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to call the provider, which is always a headache. We try to keep the windows clean so people can see we’re open, but the rain always leaves streaks. We’ve got a lot of cables and chargers hanging on the wall. It’s not perfectly organized, but we know where everything is. If someone comes in looking for a specific battery, we can usually find it in a couple of minutes. We talk to the other shopkeepers on the block during lunch. Usually, we bring food from home and eat in the back. It’s a small space, so the smell of curry lingers for a while. It feels like a community here. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Ghaziabad, just a reliable one for the folks in G-block. People come in to chat as much as they do to buy things. The street light outside has been broken for a week, but we have our own light to keep going.
