Sai Garments

People usually find us over here at Shalimar Garden Extension 1, specifically at B/123. It’s a busy spot in Shalimar Garden and we’ve been here for a good while now. Sai Garments is basically just a small team of us working with clothes and fabrics every day. There isn't much fancy stuff going on, just a lot of cutting, sewing, and checking orders to make sure they're right. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded with boxes and leftover scraps, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We started out with just a couple of machines and now we have a few more, though the space feels a bit tighter than it used to. Most of our neighbors know us because we’re always around, usually loading or unloading something from a rickshaw outside. The stairs up to the unit are a bit steep, so we tell people to watch their step. Dealing with garments means there is always dust and thread everywhere, so we spend a lot of time cleaning up after ourselves. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially when we have a big batch to finish by the weekend. We don't really do big ads or anything like that. People just hear about us from someone else and show up at the door. It’s a simple way to run things but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and get the sewing done and out the door.
