Rimaco Machines

Our business, Rimaco Machines, is situated at 3 Meerut Road near Ghukna Maur. This is a very busy spot because Meerut Road is one of those main arteries where trucks and buses are always flying past. The dust from the road is something we fight every single day. We sell different kinds of industrial and workshop machinery. Some of them are quite large and sit right on the main floor so people can see them. We don't have a fancy showroom with glass windows; it's more of an open-fronted space so we can move the machines in and out easily with a crane or a forklift. The office is just a small partitioned area in the back where we keep the invoices and the spare parts catalogs. It’s usually loud because of the traffic and the sound of testing the equipment for customers. We spend a lot of time explaining how the gears work or which oil to use. It’s practical work. We don't use any slick sales talk. If a machine works for what you need, that's it. Most of our customers are practical people like us who just want a tool that won't break down. In the evenings, the sun sets right across the road, and it gets a bit quieter as the heavy traffic thins out. We lock up the gates and do it all again the next day. It is a steady routine.
