Anuradha Fabricators

Site 4 in the Sahibabad Industrial Area is where you’ll find us. Specifically at 42/10. It’s a busy place, lots of trucks and dust everywhere. Anuradha Fabricators is basically a big shed where we do all the metal work. It’s loud, really loud. Between the welding sparks and the cutting saws, you can barely hear yourself think some mornings. We wear our heavy gear even when it is forty degrees outside because that’s just how it has to be. The floor is always covered in metal shavings. We try to sweep up at the end of the shift, but by the next morning, it’s back to how it was. We’ve been here in Sahibabad for quite a few years now. The tea stall around the corner knows exactly how we like our tea. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning. There is a small desk in the corner with a fan that mostly just moves the warm air around. We deal with a lot of different projects, some small and some that take up the whole floor space. It is hard work, and our hands are usually greasy or dusty. We don’t do much talking when the machines are running. We just focus on the measurements and the heat. It’s a tough environment, but it’s what we know. We just stay here and get the fabrication done, piece by piece, until the day is over. It is noisy and dirty, but it feels good to finish a project.
