Rawat Float Glass & Aluminium Traders

You’ll find us at Shop Number 783 on Shukkar Bazar Road. It’s right across from the Jama Maszid in Nyay Khand 3, Indirapuram. We deal with float glass and a lot of aluminum. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s always something happening right outside the shop door. We spend most of our mornings cutting glass to size or moving aluminum frames around. It’s heavy work and you have to be careful with the glass, obviously. We aren't a big showroom with lights and mirrors; it’s more of a working shop where things get done. People come in with their measurements, and we see what we can do for them. Sometimes it’s for a window at home, other times it’s for a bigger project. We’ve got all sorts of scraps and offcuts in the corners. The area gets crowded during the market days, especially on Shukkar Bazar, which makes deliveries a bit of a headache. We just deal with it. It’s a local business, so we know the neighborhood well. Most people around Indirapuram know the mosque, so finding us isn't too hard. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work. It’s not glamorous, but glass and aluminum are things everyone needs eventually. We try to be fair and just get the job finished so the customer can get on with their day. We might be covered in glass dust by evening, but that’s just how the trade goes for us.
