Ravinder Hair Saloon

Ravinder Hair Saloon is right in the middle of the Main Market in Sangam Park, Ghaziabad. If you know the market, you know it gets very busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We are just one of the many small shops that make up this area. It’s a basic hair saloon where we do haircuts for the local men and kids. We have been in Sangam Park for a good while and have seen many people grow up coming here. The shop isn't very big, so when there are three or four people waiting, it gets a bit tight. We have a couple of old chairs and a big mirror that covers most of the wall. Ghaziabad is a fast-moving place, but in the barber chair, people usually take a moment to relax. We don't have any fancy signs or expensive equipment. We use what works and we keep our scissors sharp. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common around here, but we just keep going as best as we can. The market is loud and full of energy, and we are right in the thick of it. Most of our day is spent talking to people about their work or their families while we trim their hair. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late at night. If you're walking through the Main Market, you'll see our storefront and the blue chairs.
