Rampa Singh

You can find Rampa Singh over in Gurgaon Village at the DLF Kutub Plaza Market. We are in shop number 210. It is a busy market with a lot of people coming and going for their daily shopping. I have been in this spot for a few years now. The market has its own rhythm. It starts getting loud in the late morning and stays that way until evening. My shop is small, but I try to keep it stocked with what people need. I am usually there by myself most of the day. It is a lot of standing and talking to customers. Some days are better than others. When the heat gets bad in Gurgaon, the market feels a bit cramped, but we have a fan that keeps the air moving. I do not have a big corporate background. I just learned how to run a business by doing it. You make mistakes, you learn, and you keep going. I know the other shopkeepers around Kutub Plaza quite well. We look out for each other. Sometimes we grab tea together when it is slow. I do not spend money on advertising. People walking by just see the shop and stop in. It is a very local way of doing things. I do not need much else to be honest. It is a steady life and I am used to the routine of the market now.
