Ram Electronics

If you are walking down Ghandi Road in Pikhuwa, you will find Ram Electronics right across from the Hindu Kanya Inter College. It is a busy spot, especially when the school lets out and the street gets filled with students and cycles. Our shop is just a regular place with shelves full of parts and old tools we have used for years. It is not very modern or anything, just a spot where we work on electronics every day. The front door sticks a little when it is humid out, which seems like it is most of the time lately. We spend most of our hours hunched over benches with a magnifying glass or a soldering iron. People from the neighborhood stop in quite a bit, sometimes just to chat or ask about something they broke at home. The dust from Ghandi Road tends to drift in, so we are always wiping down the counters, but it is a losing battle. We do not have any fancy signs or big displays in the window. Just some old boxes and a few things we are currently fixing. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We usually have the radio playing low in the background while we work. It is a simple setup we have got here, nothing too complicated. We just focus on the work that comes across the counter and try to stay busy until it is time to close up.
