Rajpal Singh

I’m Rajpal Singh and I’m based out of the Sabli area in Hapur. It’s a bit different than being right in the center of town near the stations, which I actually prefer because it's a little less frantic. Sabli has its own rhythm and I've come to enjoy it over the years. I’ve been set up here for a bit now, and the neighbors are mostly good people who look out for each other. We don't do much in the way of advertising or putting up big posters because people around here just know where to find me. It’s a simple, honest setup. I open up the doors in the morning, make some tea, and see what the day brings. Hapur is a place where everyone always seems to be in a rush heading somewhere else, but here in Sabli, things move a bit slower. I like that pace. My place isn't fancy at all, just a regular concrete building with the name painted on. I try to keep things straightforward with everyone. There's no need for big speeches or marketing talk. If someone comes by with a question, I talk to them like a normal person, neighbor to neighbor. The weather gets pretty hot in the summer months, so I usually have an old fan going all day to keep the air moving. Sometimes the power goes out, but that’s just how it is around here in the summer. You learn to work around it and not get too stressed. I don’t plan on moving anytime soon. This spot in Hapur Sabli works for me and it works for the people who come by. It’s just a regular business run by a regular guy. Nothing more to it than that.
