Rajni Kant Prajapati

I’ve been working out of this small space at Raj Nagar Civil Court 867 for quite a few years now. It’s just me, Rajni Kant Prajapati, and a couple of helpers who come in during the busier months. The office isn’t much to look at, honestly. We’ve got some old metal filing cabinets that screech whenever you open them and a few wooden desks that have scratches all over the tops. It gets really dusty here because of the construction nearby, so we’re always wiping things down with old rags. Most of our day is spent dealing with people coming in from the court. They’re usually in a hurry and a bit stressed out. We try to help them with their paperwork as best as we can, but things take time. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two and we just sit there talking until it comes back on. We drink way too much tea from the stall downstairs. The windows are small, so it stays a bit dark in here even when it’s sunny outside. We don’t have any fancy computers or high-speed internet. It’s all very basic and manual. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. It’s a quiet life mostly, just filing papers and talking to the regulars who stop by for a chat.
