Priti Pal Singh

Out here in Faridabad, specifically in the NIT Mujessar area at C-121, is where I run things. It’s an industrial part of town, so there’s always noise from machines and trucks moving around. The office is more like a workshop space. It’s not the cleanest place because of all the work going on, but it’s where everything happens. I spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who stop by with orders. It gets really hot in the summer, and the dust from the road always finds its way inside. I’ve been working under the name Priti Pal Singh for quite some time. It’s just me and a few others helping out. We deal with whatever comes our way, mostly practical stuff that needs fixing or making. There’s no big corporate structure here. If something needs to be done, we just do it. I usually start early before the sun gets too high. The area is full of small businesses like mine. We all kind of know each other. Sometimes we share tools or help each other out with a heavy load. It’s hard work, and my hands are usually dirty by the end of the day. But it’s a living. I don't have any big slogans or goals. I just want to finish the day's work and make sure the customers are satisfied.
