Prem Lata Power Bricks

Prem Lata Power Bricks is located at 108, New Arya Nagar, right on Patel Marg. We’ve been at this address for quite a while now. The 'Power Bricks' name sounds a bit fancy, but really we are just a regular operation making sure people have what they need to build their walls and homes. Being on Patel Marg means we have a lot of neighbors, so we try to keep the noise down as much as we can, though making bricks is never a quiet business. Most days start before the sun is even fully up because it’s cooler then and we can get more done. By mid-afternoon, the sun is beating down on the yard and everything feels like an oven. We just keep drinking water and keep moving the bricks. I like the New Arya Nagar neighborhood because it feels like a real community. You see the same faces every day, and people stop to say hello while they’re walking down Patel Marg. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just me and a few workers trying to make a living and providing a product that people actually need. We deal with the mud when it rains and the heat when it’s dry, and we don't think much of it. It’s just the way it goes here at number 108. We just keep the kiln going and the piles stacked.
