Praveen Shisodia

I’m Praveen Shisodia, and my place is located right on M G Road. If you know where the Sai Mandir is, you basically know where to find me because I’m directly opposite it. We are in the Nambadar Market, specifically at number 92. It’s a prime location but that also means it gets incredibly crowded, especially on days when people are visiting the temple. The noise from the street is something I’ve lived with for a long time. You hear the bells, the cars, and the sellers shouting out their prices all day long. My shop in the market is where I spend most of my waking hours. It’s a modest space, but it serves its purpose well. I’ve lived and worked around M G Road for years, so I know most of the faces that pass by. People often stop in just to say hello or ask for directions because they’re lost in the market. I don't mind it. The work itself keeps me occupied, and I try to stay organized even when the market gets chaotic outside. Nambadar Market has its own way of working, and we’ve found our place in it. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just providing what’s needed to the folks who come through. It’s a busy life, but it’s mine. I like being right in the middle of everything. It makes the days go by fast, and there’s always something happening right outside the door at number 92.
