Peter England

So, we are over here at Jawahar Gate, right by the Ghanta Ghar. It’s a busy spot, you know how it is near the clock tower. People are always rushing around. We’ve been running this Peter England shop for a bit now. Most days start with us just opening up the shutters and dusting off the shelves. The shirts get messy pretty fast when people start looking through them, so we spend a lot of time just refolding things. It’s not fancy work, but it keeps the place looking decent. We get all sorts of folks coming in, some looking for something for a wedding, others just needing a plain shirt for an interview. It’s nice when someone finds exactly what they want without too much fuss. Sometimes the power goes out or it gets too hot, but we just keep the doors open. We aren't some big corporate office where everything is perfect. It’s just us here trying to make sure the stock is out and people get the right size. Dealing with the traffic near Jawahar Gate is always a bit of a headache, especially in the evenings, but it's part of being here. We just focus on the clothes and making sure the racks are full. It's a simple shop, really. Nothing more to it than that. We just show up every morning and do our thing. We don't have a lot of help, just a couple of us who know where everything is.
