United Electro - Chem. Sales Agency

If you walk down Bonjha Patel Marg, you’ll find us at number 136. It’s an old building, and United Electro - Chem. Sales Agency takes up a good portion of the ground floor. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, filled with all sorts of electrical components and chemical containers. It’s a bit of a maze inside. If you don’t know where you’re going, you might trip over a crate of wire or a barrel of something. We don’t really bother with decorating the place. It’s a sales agency, so the focus is always on the stock. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and our afternoons dealing with deliveries. The street outside is usually crowded with carts and bikes, making it hard for big trucks to get through. We’ve had to carry heavy loads quite a distance sometimes because the road was blocked. It keeps us fit, I suppose. The office part is just a couple of old chairs and a table that’s seen better days. We use a lot of paper records because that’s how we’ve always done it. It’s simpler than relying on a computer that might crash. People come to us when they need something specific that the bigger stores don't carry. We don't promise anything fancy; we just tell them what we have in stock. It’s a straightforward way to run a business, and it’s worked for us so far.
