You can find us at Omburi Garments Private Limited on the third floor of building 1/605 in Sector-1, Vasundhara. Walking up to the third floor every day keeps us moving, even if we are a bit out of breath by the time we reach the door. The view from up here gives us a look at the rest of Vasundhara, which is nice when we need a break from looking at needles and thread. Our workspace is filled with the sound of scissors cutting through heavy fabric and the occasional radio playing in the background. We are a small team and we have known each other for years. There is no bossing around here; we all just know what we need to do. Some days are slow and we spend them organizing the stock, while other days are so busy we barely have time to eat lunch. We do not have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just make garments. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the morning fixing it ourselves because the repairman is busy. That is just how it goes for a local business like ours. We focus on making sure the seams are strong and the buttons do not fall off. It is basic, practical work that we do in our corner of Sector-1.
