Niks Clasees

Niks Clasees is situated in Ghaziabad, specifically in Koshambi, Sector 14. We have been running these classes for the students around here for a few years now. The space is basically a couple of rooms with whiteboards and enough plastic chairs for the batches that come in the evening. It gets quite noisy because Sector 14 is a busy part of Ghaziabad and the students are always talking between lessons. We focus on the local school syllabus and try to help the kids understand their subjects a bit better. The walls are a little bare, maybe just a calendar or some old notices pinned up. Most of the kids come here after their regular school is over, so they are usually a bit tired but we try to keep them focused. We don't have any high-tech gadgets, just pens and boards and books. Sometimes we have to rearrange the furniture to fit a larger group for a weekend test. The commute for some of the teachers can be a bit long because of the traffic near the border, but they show up every day. It is a simple place where the main goal is just to study. Parents often stop by to check on how their children are doing, and we usually talk to them at the small desk near the entrance.
