J D Academy

If you walk down Rajendra Nagar in Sahibabad, you will find us at 9/10. It is a simple setup at J D Academy. We aren't a massive campus with stadiums, just a practical space where students come to focus on their studies. The area around 201005 can be a bit hectic with all the shops and people moving around, but inside it is usually quiet enough to think. We have desks that have seen a lot of use and walls that could probably use a fresh coat of paint one of these days. Most of the people who come here live just a few blocks away. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We spend a lot of time sitting at the main desk answering phones or talking to parents who drop by. The rooms are basic. We have whiteboards and chairs and not much else because that’s all you really need for a lesson. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just open the windows to let the breeze in. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood. We don’t try to be something we aren't. It’s just a place for learning and getting through the exams. Every day is pretty much the same, with the usual rhythm of classes and breaks. We just keep the doors open and do our best to help everyone get their work done.
