Giimt Academy

We are over in Vijay Nagar, at A-23 Basant Vally in Budh Vihar. This is where we do our teaching. It’s mostly computer courses and some other vocational stuff for students who want to get a job. The academy is in a residential-looking building, so it feels more like a home than a school. We have a few rooms set up with computers and desks. It’s not the newest equipment in the world but everything works and that’s what matters for learning. We see a lot of young people from around the neighborhood who come here after their regular college or work. We spend a lot of time explaining things and helping people with their practical assignments. Sometimes the internet is slow or a computer acts up, and we just have to deal with it. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the subjects well. Budh Vihar is a quiet enough area for studying. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed so people don't feel too much pressure while they learn. It’s just a simple place to learn some skills that might help someone get ahead in their career. We aren't some big famous university, just a local spot where people can come to learn. Most of our students come from the nearby blocks and we know their families too.
