You can find us at Plot No. 160 in Niti Khand-2, which is part of the Indirapuram area in Ghaziabad. It is right in the middle of a residential neighborhood, so there are houses and apartments all around us. The school is not a massive campus, but it is tucked into a corner where it’s a bit safer for the younger children. We have a small gate and a bit of space out front where parents can wait during drop-off and pick-up times. The noise of the city is always there in the background, but inside the classrooms, it stays relatively quiet. We have simple furniture suited for smaller kids, and the walls are decorated with some basic letters and numbers. It’s a place where children come for their early years, so there’s often the sound of singing or playing coming from the rooms. The floor is easy to clean, which is necessary because things get spilled or tracked in from outside quite a bit. We don’t have a big cafeteria, so the kids usually bring their own tiffin boxes from home. The staff spends their time organizing the daily activities and making sure everyone is accounted for. It is a very local, neighborhood-style school where people know each other’s names and things feel a bit more personal than in the huge schools in the city.
