Nidhi Abacus Classes

We run Nidhi Abacus Classes from our place in Indirapuram. Specifically, we are at Krishna Apra Garden, in apartment B-1403 over in Vaibhav Khand. It’s basically our home where we’ve set up a space for the kids to come and learn. We started this because we saw a need in the neighborhood for something like this. The apartment is usually full of the sound of clicking abacus beads and kids talking. We keep things very informal here. It’s not like a strict school building. The kids sit around the table and we go through the exercises together. We’ve got some posters on the walls to help them remember the numbers, but that’s about it for decor. Parents usually drop their kids off and chat for a bit at the door. We know most of the families in the garden complex. It’s a nice community feel. Sometimes the classes get a bit loud when everyone is trying to solve a problem at once, but it’s good energy. We don’t have a big administrative staff or anything. It’s just us handling the teaching and the schedules. We use simple notebooks and the abacus tools. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things. We like being right here in Vaibhav Khand because it’s convenient for everyone. We just want to help the local kids get better with their numbers in a friendly environment. We do our best to make it a place they want to visit.
