Next Saloon

This shop is over in RDC Raj Nagar, specifically at A-4, C-1. Ghaziabad is a crowded place, and Raj Nagar is no different. We have been in this spot for a while now, doing haircuts and whatever else the local guys need. The shop isn't very big, but we have enough room for a couple of chairs. I keep the floor swept, though it’s a constant job with people coming in and out all day. We have a small TV in the corner that’s usually on a news channel or a cricket match if one is playing. It helps pass the time when someone is waiting. The lighting is okay, nothing fancy, just standard tubes. Most people who come here live in the apartments around RDC. We know most of them by name. It’s a straightforward business. We open early and stay open until the last customer is done. Sometimes the scissors need sharpening, or the water isn't as hot as I’d like, but we manage. It’s just a regular saloon in a busy part of town. I don't spend much on decorations or ads. People just know where we are. If you’re walking around Raj Nagar, you’ve probably seen the door. We just try to do a decent job so people come back next month. That’s about it for us. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but it’s what I know how to do. Stop by if you’re nearby.
