New Sahyadri Industries Ltd

Most of our work happens at the factory in Hapur Village, specifically in Sikeda Pilkhuva. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but it’s where we have all our space. New Sahyadri Industries Ltd isn't some high-tech glass building. It’s a sturdy industrial shed with high ceilings and the smell of raw materials in the air. We’ve got machines running most of the day, making a steady rhythm that you get used to after a while. Most of our workers live right here in the village or in nearby Pilkhuva, so it feels like a community effort. We deal with various manufacturing processes, and things can get quite messy. There’s always scrap metal or packaging material lying around in heaps. We don’t have a fancy canteen, just a small area where we sit and eat our tiffins during the lunch break. The road leading up to the gate is a bit bumpy, especially during the monsoon when the puddles get deep. It’s a practical place for doing practical things. We don't spend money on expensive office furniture or decorative lights. Every rupee goes back into the machines and the materials we use. It’s hard work, and the summer heat in the shed can be quite intense, but we’ve been doing this for a long time and we’re proud of what we produce in Sikeda.
