If you walk down Ganpath Gali and look for the door numbered 2045, you will find us there. New Rajkumar Cloth Stores has been sitting in this exact spot for quite a while. We deal in all kinds of different fabrics and readymade clothes for the people who live in this neighborhood. The shop itself is not very big, and sometimes the stacks of cloth rolls get a bit too high, making the aisles feel a little narrow when we have more than a few customers. We keep cottons, silks, and various synthetic blends depending on what people are asking for during the different seasons. It is usually at its busiest in the evenings when folks are done with their work and stop by to pick up something for a wedding or maybe just a bit of cloth for daily wear. My father was the one who started this shop, and now we just keep it going as best as we can. We do not have any of those fancy air conditioners or big bright neon signs like the malls have, just some regular tube lights and a couple of ceiling fans to keep the air moving on hot days. You will find rolls of fabric tucked into almost every corner of the room. Some of our regular customers spend an hour just looking through all the patterns before they finally decide on a few meters. We try to keep the prices fair. It gets a bit dusty because of the street traffic outside.
