We are located in Karhera Colony, which is over in Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad. Our office is near the Radha Swami Temple, so we often hear the sounds from there during the day. It’s a dusty part of town, especially with the traffic on the main road. The building is pretty basic, just a structure in the colony that we’ve used for a while. We have the usual office stuff like old metal cupboards and wooden desks. There’s a lot of activity because we are near the temple, so there’s always someone walking past the door. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s not a priority right now. We spend our hours looking at bills and maintenance schedules. It’s a no-frills kind of place. Sometimes a stray dog will sit by the entrance to get some shade. We don’t have a big fancy sign, just a small one so people know they are at the right spot. The electricity can be a bit temperamental in this area, which is ironic given what we do. We just use the backup and keep going. Most of us have been working here for years, so we know the local tea seller and the shopkeepers around the corner. It’s a very local, neighborhood vibe. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to stay out of the heat as much as possible. The neighborhood is always bustling, and we feel like we are just part of the daily life of this colony.
