We set up our tutoring spot in Indirapuram, specifically within Shipra Sun City. It’s a large residential area, so we are surrounded by families and schools. We basically took a space and filled it with tables, chairs, and whiteboards for the kids. It’s a place where students come after their regular classes are over to get some extra help with their subjects. Some days it is very quiet, with everyone hunched over their notebooks, and other days it’s a bit chaotic when exams are coming up. We have stacks of practice papers and textbooks everywhere you look. It’s not meant to look like a fancy academy; it’s more like a study room at home. We spend our afternoons and evenings explaining math problems or checking grammar. The light in the rooms is bright so nobody gets sleepy while they’re reading. We get to know the kids pretty well, and their parents often stop by for a quick chat when they come for pickup. There is always a stray pen or an eraser left behind at the end of the day. The water cooler in the corner makes a loud glugging sound every time someone uses it, but it’s part of the noise here. We aren't trying to be anything other than a place for local students to sit down and actually get their work done. It’s a simple routine, and we’ve become a small part of the neighborhood’s daily life here in the society.
