Muskanhair Saloon

Muskanhair Saloon is located right here in Anand Vihar on Gulmohar Road in Ghaziabad. We have been at this spot for a while now and most people in the neighborhood know where to find us. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, but it stays busy enough with folks coming in for their regular trims. I usually get here early in the morning to sweep up and get the towels ready. The sun hits the front window pretty hard in the afternoons, so it can get a bit warm inside if the fan isn't going full speed. We have four chairs lined up against the big mirror. Sometimes all of them are full and other times I’m just sitting there watching the traffic go by on Gulmohar Road. People around here are mostly in a rush, heading to work or taking their kids to school. We see a lot of the same faces every few weeks. It is just a basic place where you can sit down, get your hair cut, and maybe talk about the weather or what is happening in the news. I try to keep the place tidy but hair gets everywhere no matter how much you sweep. The sign outside has faded a bit over the years from the rain and sun. Ghaziabad is a crowded city and there is always noise from the street, but inside here it feels a bit different once the door shuts. That's about it really for our little shop on the corner. We just do our work.
