We have been here in Vijay Nagar Sector-12 for a good while now. Most people know us because we are right near the Sabjimandi in Pratap Vihar at C-9. It gets pretty busy around here, especially in the evenings when everyone is out getting their vegetables and they realize their phone screen is cracked or the battery is acting up again. We just take the phones, see what is wrong, and try to fix it as fast as we can. It’s a small shop, nothing fancy. You’ll see wires and parts on the desk most days because there is always something to work on. Sometimes the parts take a day to come, other times we do it right there while you wait. We see all kinds of phones, old ones and the new ones too. People come in asking for chargers or a new tempered glass when they drop their mobile on the road. We just do our work and keep things moving. The fan makes a bit of noise in the summer but we are used to it. If you are walking past the market, you can just stop by. There is usually someone here from morning until late evening. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to handle these gadgets. It is honest work and it keeps us busy every day of the week. We keep a diary of what needs to be done next, and the pen is always running out of ink, but we get by just fine.
