Van Heusen Showroom

We are the ones running the shop at No. 8 on the ground floor of Opulent Mall, right in East Model Town along GT Road. Even though it’s in a mall, we try to keep things feeling like a regular local shop. We spend our time making sure the shirts and trousers are folded right and the hangers are spaced out. The mall gets quite busy on the weekends, so those are our longest days. We have to follow certain ways of doing things, but we still treat it like our own place. The air conditioning is nice during the summer, which is a plus. We see a lot of different people coming through GT Road. Some are just passing through, and others live right here in Model Town. We don't do much talking about ourselves; we just focus on the clothes on the racks. It’s a lot of standing and moving things around. Sometimes the mall security or the other shop workers stop by for a chat. We try to keep the place looking neat, though it can get disorganized when a lot of people are trying things on at once. We just work through the tasks one by one. It’s a steady job in a busy part of town. We are just here to help people find a decent outfit for their next meeting or event. No big speeches, just plain work every day. We open when the mall opens and stay until it’s time to head home.
