Malik Garments

Malik Garments is located in the Deepak Vihar area of Khora Colony, right in Sector 62 of Noida. This part of town is always moving, and we are right in the thick of it. We deal in various types of garments, mostly stuff for daily use. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we carry a lot of stock inside. We have to be careful how we stack the boxes because the space is limited. I usually spend my time helping customers find the right size, which can be a bit of a challenge when everything is folded in big piles. The floor is concrete and we have one old rug near the changing curtain. It’s a very local operation. We know most of the people living in the nearby blocks. Sometimes my friends come over and we sit and talk while waiting for customers to walk in. It gets quite hot in the summer because the ventilation isn't the best, but we have a couple of noisy fans that help. I handle all the buying myself, traveling to the wholesalers to pick out what looks good. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy bags and rearranging the racks every week. We just do our best to keep the shop running smoothly day by day. It’s a family business and we’ve been at this address for a long time now.
