Madura Garments

We are set up at C 231 in Surya Nagar, which is in Ghaziabad. If you are familiar with this part of town, you know it’s right on the edge of Delhi, so we get a bit of both worlds. Madura Garments is what we do here. The building is a regular house that we’ve converted to fit our needs. It has a lot of rooms that we use for storage and for the desks where we keep track of the clothes and the orders. Surya Nagar is usually a bit noisy with the traffic from the main road nearby, but inside it’s alright. We have a lot of samples lying around, different fabrics and shirts, because that’s the nature of the business. It’s not a fancy showroom with mannequins and bright lights. It’s more of a place where we do the back-end work. We have a small staff and we’ve all been together for a while, so it’s a relaxed atmosphere. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep going. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet because we are usually too busy with the garment stacks. It’s an honest place. We just focus on getting the clothes sorted and shipped out to whoever needs them without a lot of extra talk or marketing.
