Kiran Hello Point

You can find Kiran Hello Point over at number 9 in the Lajpat Nagar part of Sahibabad. It’s a modest little shop that deals with all things related to mobile phones and connectivity. We’ve got shelves lined with different types of chargers and some basic handsets for those who don't want anything too complicated. The space is a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of variety on hand. During the day, it's a constant stream of people needing help with their SIM cards or looking for a specific type of screen protector. I spend a lot of my time behind the counter, typing on the computer or fiddling with a broken device. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and vendors, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. We don't put on any acts or use big words to describe what we do. It’s just a place to get your phone fixed or topped up so you can stay in touch with your family. We see the same school kids and office workers every day. Sometimes we run out of a certain item and have to tell people to check back tomorrow. It’s not a perfect system, but it works for us and the people who live around here. We just take it one customer at a time and try to stay busy.
