Kaya Papaya Beauty Parlour

Kaya Papaya Beauty Parlour is at 3Rd E, 105, Rakesh Marg in Nehru Nagar. It’s a bit of a funny name, I know, but it sticks in people’s heads. We are based in Ghaziabad and have been serving the local ladies for a while. The parlour is inside a residential area, so it feels very private for the customers. I’ve set up a few rooms for different treatments. We do a lot of skin stuff and hair coloring. It’s not a huge operation, just me and two other girls who work here. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, there are towels and bowls everywhere. Rakesh Marg can get quite busy with traffic, but once you’re inside, it’s a bit quieter. We have a regular kettle for tea because our customers like to talk while they get their nails done. It’s more of a social thing for many of them. We don't use those big fancy machines you see on TV. Most of it is done by hand. The lighting isn't perfect, but it works for what we do. I think people like coming here because it doesn't feel like a cold, clinical place. It feels like a home. We keep the prices where the neighbors can afford them without thinking twice. It’s a small business and we’re just trying to do a good job every day. It keeps us busy and happy.
