Kapil Gents Beauty Parlour

Our shop is at A-98 on 25 Futa Road. We are right in the main market of Gagan Vihar, specifically the Bhopra area of Ghaziabad. It is a very lively part of town. There is always a lot of noise from the street, with vendors yelling and bikes going past. We have a small sign outside so people can spot us among all the other businesses. Inside, it’s a bit quieter than the street, but not by much. We have a few chairs and large mirrors that cover one side of the wall. We spend a lot of time standing on our feet, so we have some mats down. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so we are always sweeping. It’s a gents' parlour, so it’s mostly just guys coming in for a quick trim or a shave. We know most of the regulars who live in Gagan Vihar. They stop by on their way home from work or on their day off. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people seeing the shop when they walk through the market. The lighting is bright and we keep the radio playing in the background. It’s a simple business. We focus on the task at hand and try to make sure everyone leaves looking a bit better than when they walked in. It’s hard work but it’s what we know how to do.
