Kamal Professional Saloon

Kamal Professional Saloon is at A-124, Shop No.3 in Panchwati, Ghaziabad. We are right by Bhatia Mod. If you know that area, you know it gets pretty busy with traffic and people walking by. I open up the shop early most mornings to get things ready before the first people show up. It is just a regular saloon where we do haircuts and shaves for the men around here. The shop isn't huge, but we have enough space for a few chairs and a small bench for waiting. The mirrors have some spots on them sometimes because the air in Ghaziabad is quite dusty, especially with all the cars going toward Bhatia Mod. I spend a lot of time sweeping up hair from the floor. It is a simple life, just working and talking to the regulars who come in every few weeks. We talk about the weather or the price of things at the market. Sometimes the electricity goes off and we just have to sit and wait for it to come back on. I have a small radio that plays music in the background to keep things from being too quiet. People in Panchwati know where we are, so we don't need a big sign or anything like that. It is just a place to get a decent haircut without any fuss. We have been here for years now and the walls could probably use some new paint, but it feels like home to us.
