Kalpana Garment

Kalpana Garment is located at D301 in Sector 63. We are very close to Santosh Hospital, which is a big landmark around here. Sector 63 is an industrial area, so there are a lot of factories and trucks moving around all the time. Our place is on the third floor, and the elevator is a bit slow, so we often just take the stairs. Inside D301, the room is filled with the sound of sewing machines running. It is quite loud when everyone is working at once. We have rows of machines and big tables for cutting the fabric. The floor is usually covered in little threads and scraps of cloth, no matter how much we sweep. We have big fluorescent lights on the ceiling because we need to see the stitching clearly. It gets quite hot during the day with all the machines running, so we keep the windows open, even though it brings in some noise from the street. We take our breaks in a small area near the entrance where we keep a water cooler. We are just a group of workers trying to finish the daily batches on time. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we are used to it. The hospital nearby is a good point of reference for anyone trying to find us.
