We are surrounded by other vendors, so it’s never quiet. We sell a lot of different clothes, mostly aimed at the people who live and work around Noida 201309. It’s a small space, so we have stuff stacked all the way to the ceiling. I usually need a ladder just to show someone a pair of trousers from the top shelf. The market gets very crowded on the weekends, and that’s when we are the busiest. I’ve lived in this area for a long time, so I know the shortcuts and the best places to get lunch. My nephew helps me out on the weekends when it gets too much for one person to handle. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights, just the standard racks you see in any market shop. Sometimes the fans make a clicking noise that drives me crazy, but we haven't had time to fix it. People come here because they know we’ve been here for years and they know what we have on the hangers. It’s a straightforward business. We buy the stock, we put it on the shelves, and we talk to whoever walks in. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and we like the market atmosphere here. Most days are long but we don't mind the noise.
