Ims Design Innovation Academy

Over at Sector 62, at plot A 8B, you’ll find the Ims Design Innovation Academy. We’ve been based in this building for some time now. It’s a space where people come to work on design projects and learn about different creative things. The neighborhood is mostly offices and other buildings, so it's a pretty standard area. Inside, we have some tables and computers for the students to use. It's not a very big place, but there’s enough room for everyone to get their work done. We often have scraps of paper and fabric lying around because that’s just how it goes when people are making things. The air conditioning works okay, though it can get a bit cold in the afternoons. We don't have a reception desk that’s always staffed, so someone usually just pokes their head out when they hear the door. We spend a lot of time just looking at drawings and talking about how to fix them. It's a bit of a trek to get here if you're not living nearby, but the bus stop isn't too far away. We just focus on the classes and help whoever is signed up for the day. There’s no big fancy lobby, just a sign on the door and our work inside. It’s a simple spot in Sector 62. The elevator is sometimes out of order so we use the stairs.
