Globus Stores Pvt Ltd is based out of House No 158 in Sector 15, Ghaziabad. We decided to use this house as our office because it felt more comfortable than a cold commercial building. It is a residential sector, so it is relatively quiet, although you can always hear the neighbor’s dog barking. The house has been converted into a workspace with desks in the main rooms and storage in the back. We have not changed much about the building, so it still looks like a regular home from the outside. The front gate is a bit rusty and makes a loud noise when you open it. We do not have any fancy uniforms or a formal dress code. We just wear what is comfortable and get the work done. Most of our day is spent coordinating with suppliers and checking our stock levels. The kitchen is always busy with someone making tea or heating up lunch. We do not have a big marketing department or any glossy brochures. We just rely on doing our job well so that people come back to us. It is a simple, down-to-earth operation. We like the fact that we can walk out into the garden for a break when things get a bit stressful. It is just a small group of us trying to run a decent business from a house.
