Global Fashion International

Our place is on the second floor of building 182 in Ghaziabad. We’ve been operating Global Fashion International from this spot for some time now. Being up on the second floor means we get a bit of a break from the street noise, but it’s still pretty busy around here in Uttar Pradesh. We mostly deal with clothing and textiles, sorting out orders and looking at fabrics. The office is full of samples and rolls of cloth piled up in the corners. It’s not a runway or a high-end boutique look, just a working space where we get things done. The 201010 area is where we've put down our roots. We spend a lot of our time talking to suppliers and checking the quality of the stitching. Sometimes the elevator in the building is a bit moody, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. We aren't a big multinational with thousands of staff, just a dedicated group of people in Ghaziabad trying to move fashion items from one place to another. It’s a lot of logistics and checking boxes. We don't have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we are doing, they usually just come up to the second floor and we clear off a table to show them the latest samples. It’s straightforward, real work in the heart of the city. We keep the kettle going and just focus on getting the next shipment ready for the trucks.
