Ghanshyam Singh Saingar

My name is Ghanshyam Singh Saingar and I've been based out of the Ghaziabad Tehsil Compound for a long time. My specific spot is number 68. If you've ever been to the Tehsil, you know it's a busy place with a lot of people moving around constantly. I handle things from this little office. It's not a big corporate setup or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and plenty of registers. The compound gets quite dusty during the summer months and the fans never seem to be fast enough to keep us cool. I spend my hours dealing with the various documents that come through the Ghaziabad office. Most days start early before the main crowd arrives. I like the morning quiet here before the shouting and the typing sounds take over. Chamber 68 is easy enough to find if you walk past the main gate and keep going. I've seen the building change over the years, but my corner stays pretty much the same. People come in with all sorts of paperwork, and I just try to get through the pile one by one. It's a lot of manual work and checking details. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there talking for a bit until it comes back. It’s a local life and I’m fine with it. I don’t see myself moving anywhere else. This compound is where the real work happens in Ghaziabad and I’m just glad to have my place here.
