You can find us at C 71/4 in Ghaziabad on B S Road. We are just a short walk from the Pokhuwa Petrol Pump, which is a good landmark for people who aren't from this part of town. This crane business was something I got into because I liked the machinery. It’s not a clean job, and most of the time we are covered in oil or dust from the road. B S Road is always busy, so getting the cranes out of the lot can be a bit of a trick sometimes. We don't have a big staff, just a few guys who know how to handle the controls. We don't go in for any of that polished marketing stuff. We just have our phone number on the side of the machines and wait for people to call when they’re in a spot of trouble. Sometimes we’re working late into the night under flashlights if a job is urgent or if a vehicle is blocking a main lane. It’s tiring work, but it feels good when you finally get a heavy load settled where it belongs. We’ve been in this spot for several years now and the local shopkeepers are all friends of ours. We just do the work, collect our pay, and try to keep the machines running for the next day. It is just how things go for us here in the city.
