Down on Kastaliyan Street in Chahakmal, you’ll find me at number 52. I’m Dinesh Kumar Shama. Hapur is where I’ve set up my shop, and it’s a place that feels like home. The street can be a bit narrow and crowded, but that’s just how things are around here. I don't have a fancy showroom or a team of people in suits. It’s just a simple room where I do my daily work. I started this a long time ago because I wanted to work for myself and stay local. Most of my clients are people from the neighborhood or nearby towns. They know I’m usually here from morning until late evening. The building itself is older, and it has some character, maybe a few cracks here and there, but it’s sturdy. I don't spend money on advertising because word travels fast in Hapur. If you do a decent job, people tell their cousins and neighbors. I keep my books by hand mostly, and my workspace is filled with things I’ve collected over the years. It might look messy to some, but I know exactly where everything is. It’s not a corporate office, just a real place where a real person works. I like the pace of life here. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy enough. Sometimes I sit outside for a bit just to watch the street traffic when things are quiet.
