Dhirender Kumar Tyagi

Dhirender Kumar Tyagi is my name and I run things from Hapur at Barahi Mohlla 149. This is a very old part of town and the streets can be quite narrow for cars. Our office is on the ground floor of a sturdy brick building. It is a very simple place with just the essentials for work. I have two people who work with me and we have been together for a long time. We have a few wooden tables that we use as desks. There are piles of paper everywhere because we do almost everything by hand or with an old machine. We don't have an air conditioner, just a big pedestal fan that we move around depending on where we are sitting. It gets quite dusty here, so we are always cleaning the surfaces in the morning. The neighbors often stop by just to chat for a minute or two. It’s a very friendly and human atmosphere. We don't have a big sign outside, but everyone in the mohalla knows where we are located. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day, which we get from the small shop across the street. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to do our work properly and look after the people who come to see us. It’s a quiet life and we are happy with how things are. We usually close up early on Saturdays.
