You can find us, Dhakray Shakti Singh, at Plot No Ag 28 in the Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar. We are right off the G T Karnal Road, which is a major route for trucks and heavy vehicles. Because of where we are, the area is always covered in a bit of dust and the noise from the traffic is constant. It is not the most peaceful place to work, but it is where all the action is for the transport industry. Our office is a basic structure on the plot and we don't spend much money on making it look pretty. It’s more about having a place to sit and manage the logs and schedules. We’ve been here for a long time and we know the other people working in the transport nagar quite well. It’s a hardworking environment and nobody really cares about fancy clothes or corporate talk. We just focus on getting the jobs done and making sure things move as they should. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and the ground gets all muddy, but we just deal with it. We don't have any big slogans or advertisements. We just rely on the fact that we are here and we know how to handle the work. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living and we don't really want it any other way. We just keep going day by day.
