Devender Singh

Devender Singh's place is over at B 230 on the Main Bawana Road in Daulatpur. It’s a busy stretch of road with lots of trucks and cars passing by all the time. Our building is easy to find once you get into the B block area. It’s not a large operation, just a few of us handling the daily business. We’ve been at this location for a while now and the office has a very lived-in feel to it. There’s a bit of clutter here and there, mostly just supplies and old files we haven't archived yet. We don't really have a reception area, so you just walk in and someone will be there at a desk. The air gets a bit dusty from the road outside, but we keep the fans going to stay cool. It’s a very hands-on environment. We deal with whatever problems come up throughout the day. We aren't much for formal meetings or big presentations. Most decisions are made over a quick talk near the door. It’s a very direct way of working that saves everyone time. We know the local area well and have seen a lot of changes on Bawana Road over the years. Despite the growth around us, our little corner stays pretty much the same. It’s a reliable spot where we just get things done. We usually shut the windows tight when the traffic gets too loud in the late afternoon. It’s just us doing our work.
