If you head over to the Ghaziabad District Court Compound, you'll find Devender Kumar Goel's office at Raj Nagar 37. It's a busy area, always filled with people rushing around with papers and files. Our spot is right in the thick of it. The office is small and usually stacked with folders from floor to ceiling. It feels like there's never enough shelf space for everything. We spend a lot of time walking back and forth between the office and the court rooms. It’s a noisy environment but we've gotten used to the shouting and the typing sounds. There is always a lot of paperwork to sort through every single day. We don't really go for fancy furniture or anything. A few sturdy chairs and a desk that has seen better days are enough for us to get the work done. People come in with all sorts of questions. We try to keep a calm head even when things get hectic outside in the compound. It’s just how life is here in Raj Nagar. We have been in this same spot for quite a while now. The tea stall nearby is where we usually end up during breaks. It's just a regular, working office where we handle the daily grind of the court system. Nothing fancy, just practical work every day. We don't use much technology besides the basics, as paper is still king around here. It keeps us grounded. The wooden cabinets are older than most people working here.
